Australian Director’s Easter Update
Dear Friends,
Easter greetings in the name of Messiah Jesus. On the night of Jesus’ betrayal, He instituted the Lord’s Supper in the context of the Passover celebration (Matthew 26:17-29). We celebrate Easter as the spiritual provision for our salvation so beautifully portrayed in that annual Passover event and frequently remembered as we partake of the elements in communion.
Passover is preceded by Purim in the Jewish community, as a memorial of another deliverance from imminent danger in the hatred of Haman during the exile. God raises up Esther to thwart Haman’s plan and protect her people from total annihilation. This has been the continuous story of the Jewish people even to present time with the attack on Israeli citizens by Hamas, continuing threats from Hezbollah and Iran, and the rapid rise of antisemitism across the globe.
I want to thank you for standing with Israel and the Jewish community at this critical moment in history. Your prayers, encouragement and financial support are making a difference in Israel and here in Australia. The Israel Relief Fund and the more recent, Stand with Israel Fund, have received increased donor support, enabling us to give relief on the ground in Israel and support Jewish communities here and other parts of the world. The provision of missile shelters, medi-cycles, ambulances, medical supplies, trauma counselling, food and clothing distribution, and other necessities communicate God’s love and open spiritual conversations. Thank you!

Both conferences are free and you can register on the FOI Australia website. We are also praying for our proposed tour to Israel in 2025 and have opened pre-registration for those interested.
