AUSTRALIAN FIELD DIRECTOR UPDATE
DECEMBER 2025
Dear Friends,
Shalom! I just returned from our tour of Israel, Jordan and Greece, which went extremely well, praise God. We were blessed to arrive after the release of the remaining 20 living hostages from captivity by Hamas in Gaza, which was an answer to many prayers. Yet, the trauma of the Gaza war remains. Elizabeth and I met an Israeli couple whose son was killed in Gaza while serving in the IDF. Their pain of loss was palpable and we were blessed to share our love for them in the midst of their grief. Our tour group also had many opportunities to express support for Israel personally, as well as experience the amazing biblical sites among modern Israel. Israel is truly a miracle of God’s promise to restore the nation to its ancient homeland and a greater miracle is yet to occur at the Messiah’s return to the Mount of Olives (Zechariah 12:10-13:1; 14:1-20). We have tours to Israel planned for 2026 and so I invite you to consider joining our next tour.
At the same time, a sponsored project was happening in Israel as Timothy Wainwright conducted fire fighting and prevention training for Israeli communities – Operation Fire Support. Donor support for the Stand with Israel Fund allowed us to give a grant to make this project possible. In addition, during our tour, we gave grants to Lifeshield for missile/bomb shelters and two local assemblies in Rehovot and Jerusalem. Again, these grants were possible because of generous donors supporting our Israel Relief and Stand with Israel Funds. Thank you for your part in enabling these crucial partnerships.
We held our last Prophecy Conference for the year in Auckland, New Zealand, in September, which was a new initiative for our ministry. A problem with our booked venue just a week before the conference demonstrated the reality of opposition to Israel. The Baptist church congregation objected to our use of the facility and so it was cancelled.Thankfully, an alternative was quickly arranged and the conference went ahead as planned. Attendance was solid and feedback was encouraging, which we trust will establish a stronger presence of support for Israel and the Jewish people.
Our ministry representatives have been active in serving Jewish communities and speaking in churches in Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia. If your church needs ministry from one of them, please do not hesitate to contact us. Mark Rogers has resumed his ministry after the loss of his beloved wife, Kathy, to cancer. Thank you for your prayers for them and now for him as he adjusts to life without her. We gather for our staff conference in early December, which is a special time of fellowship, prayer and planning for 2026 and beyond.
