Our tour leaders have all made multiple tours to Israel and are former Ministers/Pastors. Their focus is on caring for all passengers needs and Bible teaching while ensuring the tour remains on schedule, relaxed, and an uplifting spiritual experience for everyone. "We have enjoyed and been blessed by the ministry of FOI over many years. In 2008 we were part of a group of Australians and Americans on a Tour of Israel led by Deane & Margaret Woods. It was the trip of a life time. It was a joyful, instructive, challenging and deeply emotional experience. The stories of the Bible came alive as Deane opened the scriptures at each historical place we visited; we sang our hearts out with praise and revelled in the rich Christian fellowship we shared with one another. For us, the trip had another significance. I (Herb) was returning to Haifa, the place my parents and grandparents called home, and where I was born 70 years earlier. Deane made time in his itinerary to take us to the German Colony in Haifa to visit my ancestral home, and from which the family was expelled at the outbreak of World War II. It was Easter Sunday and the Arab neighbours, who remembered our family, made the whole group feel welcome.
